Huckleberry Picking
I pulled them out of bed at 5:30 A.M. to avoid the heat. They lasted half an hour before they set down their buckets and watched the portable DVD player. The oldest was more interested in hiking than stopping to pick. We managed to pick three batches of jam. We have enjoyed shakes, pancakes, and huckleberry cinnamon rolls.

You have such beautiful children! I'm glad there were berries to pick since you got up so early! It was great to visit with you... good luck during these last weeks of pregnancy!
