Too old to sit on Santa's lap, but he did wait in line for a candy cane. He is so good with his little sister.

Just in case you are not good at lip reading, she is saying "Teacup Piggie." Toys R Us is sold out online. They had one left on the shelf, but not the one she wants. Good thing she has been a good girl this year. They opened a case in the back and she will get her wish, unless I decide to sell it on eBay.

The kind souls at CSN Stores have offered me the chance to review a product available on their site! CSN sells everything under the sun. Where else can you buy children’s luggage, a world globe, cute cookware, a new funky coffee table and a Shoprider motorized scooter all in one place? I will be perusing the kitchen section of CSN and deciding what item to review in the next few days. It might be a hard decision, because I already have a happy kitchen. But how can I turn down the opportunity to get a $35 credit towards one of their items, especially at Christmas time. The shopping has begun or at least the family has begun their laundry list of demands. December is also my husband's birthday month, so it's twice the fun to try and figure out what to get him. My husband is a world traveler. I hope to one day join him for some travelling, but first we have a family to raise. I am giving him a world globe to replace the one the baby put in the dishwasher. This one was better priced than anything I found on eBay and the shipping was free.

Coolest Birthday Party

When you mix science experiments with a birthday party you get the best birthday party ever. In this shot they are creating lava lamps. I'll admit it. I felt a little guilty for the simple parties I throw my kids.





We interrupted the fun for a group photo. Yes, that is a bounce house and slide.

They also made snow.


They also made worms by squirting a yellow polymer

And pulling out the worm.

And they made slime.

And the food was good.

And he got what he wanted for a present.

This little ten month old is such a ray of sunshine. Her family claims that her funny faces come from her brothers. Her mommy got quite the work out coaxing some of those expressions.

Gorgeous eyes, just like her Mama.
